Board Member

Colleen Karls, Director

Colleen first came to Gallatin County to attend college at MSU (Go Cats) and there met her husband. We were fortunate enough to find a home in Belgrade and start our family after graduation. She was blessed to stay home for almost 11 years with her 4 children and during that time she came to depend on the library programs and looked forward to their weekly visits. Her family’s love for the library inspired her to give back by joining the Belgrade Community Library Foundation. In fall of 2021, when her youngest started kindergarten, she began working in the Human Resource Department at the Belgrade School District Office.
